Police ID Towson Homicide Victim

A homicide investigation is underway after a man was fatally injured in a Towson neighborhood, police said.

TOWSON, MD — Police have identified the man fatally injured outside an apartment complex in Towson last week. He lived in the neighborhood where he was found bleeding on the sidewalk, according to authorities..

Dennis Joseph Buckley, 47, of the 6900 block of Donachie Road, died on Friday, March 29, police said.

Buckley was found lying unconscious and bleeding on the sidewalk in the 6900 block of Lachlan Circle after a citizen called 911 to report the issue at 9:47 a.m.

He was taken to MedStar Good Samaritan Hospital, where he was pronounced deceased at 10:38 a.m. Police said he suffered upper body trauma. The Office of the Chief Medical Examiner ruled his death a homicide by knife wound.
