RedBird Technology Nearly Doubles Business Portfolio

Locally owned Information Technology company acquires Westminster-based NoWorriesIT

RedBird Technology, a full-service IT company that mobilizes people, skills and current technologies to help organizations improve their performance recently acquired Westminster-based NoWorriesIT, a custom IT company with 30 clients throughout Maryland and South Central Pennsylvania. As a result of the acquisition, RedBird Technology nearly doubled its client portfolio from 32 to 62, and added two new staff members, Don and Jean McCombie, former owners of NoWorriesIT to its team.

The business deal came to fruition in December 2018 at the suggestion of shared legal council between the two companies. Upon acquisition finalization, RedBird Technology immediately began notifying NoWorriesIT’s client base of the business changes. The company’s new clients, the majority located in Carroll County, Maryland, range in size from 10-50 employees with varying IT needs.

“We’re very excited to have had a smooth transition between January and February 2019 as we migrated NoWorriesIT’s clients to our portfolio,” says Tim Smelcer, President & CEO of RedBird Technology. “To ensure a great customer experience, it was important for us to establish a relationship with each of our new clients and assure them we care about their success. We look forward to lending our expertise and ensuring these businesses’ infrastructures are safe, secure and up-to-date.”
