Reward Increased for Tips in 2009 Homicide: Police
Detectives are still searching for a suspect in the killing of Daniel Coverston, 22.

TOWSON, MD — The reward has been increased for tips from the public regarding a 2009 homicide case, the Baltimore County Police Department announced Monday.
Daniel Ho Coverston, 22, was found dead on Feb. 14, 2009, at his unit at the Fairways Apartments in Towson.
Based on evidence gathered at the scene, police say Coverston died from a gunshot wound. The last time anyone had seen him alive was the day before, on Feb. 13.

Homicide detectives conducted a thorough investigation, "but have not been able to develop any information that positively identified a suspect," the police said.
Coverston’s family is desperate for answers, and the reward in this case has been increased to $15,000, the police said.
