Royal Farms Robbed on Christmas: Towson Crime

Two separate Royals Farms stores were robbed, and other crimes were reported to Baltimore County police recently in Towson.

TOWSON, MD — The Baltimore County Police Department has provided the following information about recent incidents in the Towson area.

An individual was arrested after stealing a cart from CVS in the 1000 block of York Road at 9:45 p.m. on Dec. 29. The suspect then went into a storage container located on the parking lot and took merchandise.

Cash and cigarettes were stolen from the Royal Farms store in the 7200 block of York Road at 9:05 pm. on Dec. 28. The robbery suspect acted like he had a weapon and demanded the money and cigarettes.

An armed robber held up the 7-Eleven in the 6300 block of Sherwood Road. After entering the convenience store and showing a gun, the suspect took cash and left. The robbery happened around 8:55 p.m. on Dec. 27.

Four watches and a camera were stolen when an apartment was burglarized in the 7000 block of Lachlan Circle. The burglary occurred between 1:40 and 9:05 p.m. on Dec. 26. It was unknown how the suspect got inside.

Two suspects robbed a Royal Farms store of a large quantity of cigarettes on Christmas. The robbery occurred around 8:45 a.m. at the store in the 6000 block of Falls Road. One suspect went behind the counter and grabbed cigarette packs while the other implied a gun and stood in front of the counter. They left in a vehicle.

Twenty gift cards, two bicycles and a garage door opener were taken when a residence was burglarized in the 500 block of Overbrook Road. The burglary occurred between 10 p.m. on Dec. 24 and 7 p.m. on Dec. 25.
