Rucker The Police Dog To Sniff Out Explosives In Baltimore County

Meet the newest recruit for the Baltimore County Police Department.

BALTIMORE COUNTY, MD — Usually applicants must be 18 years of age but the Baltimore County Police Department's newest recruit is just 18 months.

Rucker the yellow Labrador is joining the ranks to become an explosive ordnance detection dog, police said.

The 18-month-old pup will soon begin his training, officials said Tuesday.
