Swimming at the beach was suspended after a lifeguard plane spotted the shark.

TRURO, MA – Swimming was suspended near a North Truro beach Monday after a shark sighting was reported in the area. The shark was seen by a lifeguard plane near Head of the Meadow beach, prompting a swimming ban around 12:40 p.m.
The swimming ban is expected to be lifted after about an hour.
