Shop With A Cop Spreads Cheer In Towson
Officers from the Towson precinct took time this week to escort kids on a holiday shopping spree.
TOWSON, MD — Police took time to do a little holiday shopping this week, with kids in Towson who were picking out presents for their families and themselves.
The children arrived in style in a fleet of Baltimore County police vehicles Wednesday at the Walmart on Putty Hill Avenue for the annual "Shop with a Cop" event.
The county began the initiative in 2001 in the Essex precinct, and the idea has grown countywide.
