Silver Alert Canceled For 70-Year-Old Woman: Baltimore County PD

Police said this missing woman was found after disappearing near Greenspring Valley Road at Reisterstown Road.

BALTIMORE COUNTY, MD — Police said that a missing woman whose disappearance triggered a silver alert has been located. As a result, the silver alert was canceled.

Vallertina Rogers, 70, was located by Maryland State Police.

She was in Carroll County when she was found, according to authorities, who said she has since returned home safely.

Previously, her last known location was on MD 140/Reisterstown Road at MD 130/Greenspring Valley Road on Tuesday, Jan. 15; police said she was found that day.

PREVIOUS REPORT — A silver alert has been issued for a missing woman. She was last seen wearing a hot pink coat, according to authorities, and she was driving a black Toyota Corolla.

Vallertina Rogers, 70, was last seen driving on MD 140/Reisterstown Road at MD 130/Greenspring Valley Road at 10:45 p.m., police reported the morning of Tuesday, Jan. 15.

She was driving a 2015 black Toyota Corolla with Maryland tag 7BV7628.

Rogers is described as 5-feet-1-inch tall and 130 pounds with gray hair and brown eyes. She was wearing a hot pink coat with jeans and black shoes when she was last seen, according to officials.

Police said that Rogers has a cognitive impairment and may appear disoriented.

Anyone who sees her is asked to call 911 or the Towson precinct at 410-887-2361.
