Slice Is Maryland's Favorite New Restaurant
An eatery in Towson received the title of 'favorite new restaurant' for 2017 from the Restaurant Association of Maryland.
TOWSON, MD — Slice is Maryland's favorite new restaurant, according to the Restaurant Association of Maryland, which presented the eatery with the 2017 title at its recent awards dinner.
The pizzeria, which has a location on Pennsylvania Avenue in Towson, was one of five restaurants competing in the "favorite new restaurant" category.
Others were Alchemy Elements in Bel Air, Duck Duck Goose in Bethesda, RockSalt Grille in Westminster and Sello's Italian Oven & Bar in Ocean City.

To be considered, an establishment had to be open for less than two years and have a top-notch menu, impeccable service and amazing atmosphere.

More than 20,000 people voted online to help determine the winners of a variety of awards, from favorite new restaurant to best wine program.
Slice received the designation of favorite new restaurant at the Restaurant Association of Maryland's Stars of the Industry Awards Gala Sunday at the Baltimore Renaissance Harborplace Hotel in Baltimore.
Slice is located at 8 West Pennsylvania Avenue in Towson.
