Towson Snow Totals from Saturday: Accumulation Fell in Middle of Projections

TOWSON, MD — Forecasters were calling for 1 to 3 inches of snow on Saturday in the Baltimore metro area, when the region was under a winter weather advisory. Towson fell in the middle, according to unofficial reports from the National Weather Service.

The most accumulation in the state from Saturday's snowfall was reported in southern Maryland. Approximately 9.7 inches of snow was recorded in St. Mary's County in Leonardtown. In Calvert County, 7.5 inches of snow were reported.
