Some Tenants Evacuated at Apartment Building: Officials

Emergency personnel are responding to a gas leak at a building in Lutherville-Timonium Friday morning that has resulted in some evacuations, according to Baltimore County public safety officials.

After 9:30 a.m., officials said that crews were responding to a gas leak in the 12200 block of Roundwood Road at an apartment building.

Some residents were evacuated, while others were sheltering in place, officials reported.

By 9:50 a.m., authorities said they had identified the source of the gas leak and shut off the gas. In addition, they were ventilating the building.
