
TOWSON, MD — Sprouts Farmers Market will open a new store on Goucher Boulevard. The grocer made the announcement Wednesday that Towson was among several openings slated for this year.
The market will sell an array of fresh and organic foods. It will also include a butcher shop, bakery and deli and have sections for dairy, seafood, vitamins and body care, among other offerings.
The Towson location and 12 others around the country will open before the end of September, according to a statement from the company.

The new store will be the second in Maryland for Sprouts, which is based in Phoenix, Arizona. The first opened March 14 in Ellicott City.
Before opening up in Towson, the store will hire 140 employees. While a grand opening date has not been announced, officials say it will be in business by the end of the third quarter of 2018.
