Stolen Car Hits House, Two in Custody: Police

A stolen vehicle hit a house Tuesday night in Towson after a failed traffic stop, according to the Baltimore County Police Department.
After 8:30 p.m., a patrol officer ran the tag of a red Hyundai Elantra on Waltham Woods Road and found it had been reported stolen, police said.
When the officer attempted to stop the vehicle on Loch Raven Boulevard at Putty Hill Avenue, the driver gave chase on westbound Putty Hill Avenue, according to the report.

The shift commander called off the pursuit, and the stolen car continued traveling west, where it hit a home in the 1300 block of Putty Hill Avenue, police reported.
Three people inside the vehicle tried to run from the scene, and two have been apprehended, according to the report. Officials say they know the identity of the third individual.

Nobody was injured, and the home sustained minor damage, according to police.
