Did you know that Baltimore County teachers are eligible for special school-related perks at the library? That’s right, we offer a special Teacher Loan Card that gives educators access to a myriad of materials for a nine-week loan period.
Benefits
Teacher Loan cardholders are able to borrow up to 100 items to be used in the classroom or for the benefit of students. Items include books, magazines, DVDs and more.

The card also gives educators the option of requesting a Teacher Collection, an assortment of up to 100 items to support classwork. Once an online request is completed, materials are gathered and packaged within a two-week time period for pick up at a designated branch. Materials may be returned to any Baltimore County Public Library branch.
Registration
To apply for a Teacher Loan Card, applicants should bring a completed Teacher Registration Form (PDF), valid identification and verification of their teaching status to any Baltimore County Public Library branch.
