Teenager Fatally Shot, Detectives Seek Tips In Baltimore County: Police

A 17-year-old was fatally shot this weekend in Baltimore County, police said. Detectives are still looking for the unknown shooter.

REISTERSTOWN, MD — A 17-year-old was fatally shot Sunday morning in Reisterstown, police said.

Officers are not releasing the victim's name or hometown because they are a minor.

Authorities said they were called to the 200 block of Hammershire Road just before 6:30 a.m. Sunday.

Police said they found the victim with "multiple gunshot wounds."

Medics pronounced the victim dead on the scene, officers said.

Authorities did not release any potential suspect information.

The Baltimore County Police Department asked anybody with information to call 410-307-2020. Callers can stay anonymous. Tipsters can also submit information through the county's iWATCH program at iwatch.baltimorecountymd.gov.

The Metro Crime Stoppers, an independent investigator, is also collecting anonymous tips and sharing them with officers. The Metro Crime Stoppers offered a cash reward of up to $2,000 for information that leads to an arrest on felony charges.
