Tigerfest 2017 To Draw Country, Rap Sensations To Towson
This weekend is the 2017 Tigerfest, a student-organized music festival at Towson University.

TOWSON, MD — Towson University's annual Tiger Fest is upon us and will draw live music to the campus Friday and Saturday.
The headliner for Friday night is country singer Chase Bryant. There will be a beer garden as well as food trucks and student performances in the area of Lot 26. Admission is free for students.
Saturday will feature rappers 2 Chainz and Dreezy at SECU Arena. Tickets are $30 to $35 from Ticketmaster.

The Campus Activities Board picked the musical acts based on about 2,000 survey responses from students and said that country came in second to rap as far as genres requested, according to student newspaper The Towerlight. The festival's theme is "Good Vibes Only."
As in past years, police plan additional patrols for Tigerfest through a grant from Towson University.
