Towson App Is Coming Soon
Soon Towson will have its own app, inspired by a recent success and a beach town.

A recent Towson University grad is designing a mobile application for the Towson Chamber of Commerce that should be released within months, according to WBAL.
Brooke Bianchetti, who graduated in the class of 2014 with a major in mass communication and art and design, interned at the chamber before being hired full-time as assistant to the executive director in April, according to Towson University News, which reported she is the creativity behind the new app.
The app came about after this spring’s Towsontown Festival, when the chamber released an app showcasing the vendors and entertainment available, which got 500 downloads, according to The Baltimore Sun.

The app designed for the Towson chamber will be somewhat like that of the one in Ocean City, which gives visitors an idea of where to find local events, businesses and services, WBAL reported.
