Towson To Be Sprinkled With Fire Pits, Ice Sculptures

Get ready to be dazzled by the elements during Fire and Ice Night in Towson.

TOWSON, MD — There is a chance of snow Friday, which marks "Fire and Ice Night" in Towson. The public is invited to bundle up and take in the sights of various ice sculptures installed near downtown businesses.

Fire and Ice Night is part of Winterfest, a series of events the Towson Chamber of Commerce coordinates to promote Towson businesses during the holiday season.

There will be fire pits with s'mores available outside some businesses as well as ice sculptures.

Winterfest kicked off with a holiday tree lighting last Friday; picks up with Fire and Ice Night; and the fun continues Saturday during Breakfast with the Grinch and Buddy the Elf. See the Winterfest schedule for details.
