Towson Black Friday Shopping Hours for 2016

TOWSON, MD — The Black Friday shopping started early in Towson, where many stores were open on Thanksgiving. Still, those looking for bargains will have many to choose from on Friday, whether at the Towson Town Center, Shops at Kenilworth, Towson Place or other shopping centers.

Towson Town Center opened from 6 p.m. to midnight on Thanksgiving and will be open from 6 a.m. to 10 p.m. for Black Friday on Nov. 25.

Amazon, Best Buy, Walmart and more major retailers have plenty of big blowout sales planned for the annual shopping holiday. Consumers are ready to buy, and the National Retail Federation expects sales in November and December to increase a healthy 3.6 percent to $655.8 billion. That’s significantly higher than the 10-year average of 2.5 percent and above the seven-year average of 3.4 percent since recovery began in 2009.
