Towson Business Sells $50K Lottery Ticket
A woman said her lucky numbers finally paid off after years of playing them. Her ticket came from a store off Loch Raven Boulevard.

TOWSON, MD — A convenience store in the Ravenwood Shopping Center recently sold a $50,000 winning lotto ticket. The game: Bonus Match 5.
To win, the player has to pick five numbers, and the grand prize is $50,000.
The 67-year-old grand prize winner said she had been playing her numbers for years and knew instantly when she saw them pop up on the nightly news that she had won.

"There they were, just as I'd been waiting for them,” she told Maryland Lottery officials after she claimed her prize.
The retired federal employee said her prize money has kept her up at night.

"I had too many things running through my mind," she said in a statement to lottery personnel, indicating her plans for the money include paying bills, buying a new car, adding to her savings and making home repairs.
For selling the winning ticket, E-Z Convenience at 8104 Loch Raven Boulevard in Towson earned a $500 bonus.
