Towson Chamber Names First Toast Of The Town Winners

Baltimore Blast, Towson Town Center, Greenberg Gibbons and others will be honored by the Towson Chamber of Commerce in April.

TOWSON, MD — The Towson Chamber of Commerce is hosting its first annual "Toast of the Town" event this spring. At the event, businesses, organizations and individuals making a difference in the Towson community will be recognized.

The chamber announced its award winners on Tuesday morning. They have contributed to everything from health care to education to restaurants in Towson.

The honorees will be presented with their awards at the Toast of the Town cocktail reception at the Stanley Black & Decker headquarters in Towson in April.

"We are looking forward to celebrating Towson's progress and recognizing some of the businesses that have led us to where we are today," the chamber reported in its February newsletter, in a blurb about the first ever Toast of the Town event. "We are truly thankful for the strength of our growing business community and all of the wonderful people that contributed to enhancing our quality of life for all that work, live and play in Towson!"

The Toast of the Town: A Celebration of Towson will take place from 6 to 9 p.m. on Saturday, April 14, at the Stanley Black & Decker campus, 701 East Joppa Road, Towson. People may RSVP on the Towson Chamber of Commerce website.
