Towson Commander To Explain Police Body Camera Program

TOWSON, MD — Have questions about the body-worn cameras that Baltimore County police officers are wearing? The Towson Police Community Relations Council is offering a presentation on the topic this week.

Captain Jan Brown, the commander of the Towson precinct, will give a mini seminar on the subject.

Among other things, Brown will explain how the body-worn camera program works, including when an officer turns the camera on or off and how the cameras are expected to improve public safety as a whole.

The Police Community Relations Council meeting will take place at 7 p.m. on Tuesday, Feb. 27, on the second floor of the First Lutheran Church, 40 East Burke Avenue, Towson, MD 21286.
