Towson Crime: Mall Dispute, Sonic Burglary, Mail Ambush
Police said a woman who lives in Towson was intercepted by a burglar as she got her mail.

TOWSON, MD — Several crimes were reported so for this November in Towson. Among them are a McDonald's held up and a Sonic burglarized on East Joppa Road; four people robbed, including one at gunpoint; and a burglar who went into a home while a woman was getting her mail.
The following information was provided by the Baltimore County Police Department. Arrests do not indicate convictions.
A man was walking home at 3 a.m. Sunday, Nov. 17, when an armed robber approached from behind and took his backpack. The robber returned the backpack to the victim before running away. The armed robbery occurred in the 200 block of Donnybrook Lane.

Mall security apprehended an individual in connection with a robbery at Towson Town Center at 4:23 p.m. on Saturday, Nov. 16. Two people were walking in the mall in the 800 block of Dulaney Valley Road when one assaulted the other and stole the person's cell phone. When mall security located the individual, the cell phone was recovered. The suspect and the victim knew one another.
Cash was stolen from the Sonic restaurant in the 1600 block of East Joppa Road. The burglary happened at 2:50 a.m. on Friday, Nov. 15. The suspect got in and stole cash from the drive-in before running away.

As she was going to get her mail, a woman was pushed aside in the 200 block of Overbrook Road. The suspect went into her home, took cash and left. The burglary happened at 4 p.m. on Thursday, Nov. 14.
A bicycle was stolen from a detached garage in the unit block of Meadow Road sometime between 4 p.m. on Nov. 10 and 10 a.m. on Nov. 16.
Three people robbed a man and physically assaulted him in the unit block of Waterway Court. They took his phone, glasses and shoe. The robbery occurred around 12:50 p.m., and the victim knew the suspects.
McDonald's was robbed at gunpoint after 9 p.m. on Friday, Nov. 8. The robber showed a gun, took an employee's purse and money from the safe before leaving the restaurant in the 1600 block of East Joppa Road.
A person who accepted a ride was robbed at gunpoint inside a vehicle on Goucher Boulevard at East Joppa Road. The suspect took cash from the victim, when then got out around 6 p.m. on Monday, Nov. 4.
