Towson to Get Sprayed: Mosquito Control Measures Planned

People in affected neighborhoods should avoid outdoor activities two Wednesdays in a row, state authorities say.

Residents in some Towson neighborhoods should avoid nighttime outdoor activities due to mosquito spraying on Wednesday, Sept. 9, and Wednesday, Sept. 16, according to the Maryland Department of Agriculture.

At or after 7:30 p.m. on those days, the department reported its mosquito control crews will be spraying the following neighborhoods:

  • Anneslie
  • Ashlar Hill
  • Glendale
  • Glenmont
  • Idlewylde
  • Lock Hill
  • Park Heights
  • Parkside Heights
  • Stoneleigh
