Towson Home Invasion Ends With Shooting: Police

Police said the home in Towson was targeted.

TOWSON, MD — One person was shot in a home invasion robbery in Towson early Wednesday morning, according to police. Investigators believe the home was targeted.

Before 3 a.m., officers said they were called to a residence in the 1600 block of Thetford Road.

According to police, there were specific items taken from the home that indicated the act was not random.

One of the residents was shot in the upper body during the course of the robbery, police said.

Investigators said two suspects got away before officers arrived at the scene.
