Towson Town Center Fire, Power Outage Were Unrelated: Officials
There was a fire in the food court Friday night at the mall in Towson, according to authorities.

TOWSON, MD — Fire and a power outage resulted in an evacuation at the Towson Town Center Friday night, according to officials. Nobody was injured in the blaze, authorities reported.
Firefighters were dispatched to the mall in the 800 block of Dulaney Valley Road before 7:45 p.m.
Around 8 p.m., the Baltimore County Fire Department reported the fire in the food court was out. Crews were working to restore power to the mall and conducted multiple elevator rescues.

Officials determined a small fire had broken out in a restaurant in the food court, and at the same time, there was an unrelated electrical issue that resulted in the power outage.
There was no damage to property, Fox 45 reported.
