Towson University Issues Weather Alert

With winter storm on the horizon, Baltimore County officials urge citizens to get prepared.

With Baltimore County under a winter storm warning calling for 6 to 10 inches of snow in the next day, Towson University has canceled classes for Thursday.

The university alerted students to its decision just before 5 p.m. Wednesday, stating: “Due to approaching winter storm, Towson University will be closed tomorrow, Thursday, March 5.”

The Baltimore County Office of Emergency Management said Wednesday afternoon that with the latest storm warning calling for 6 to 10 inches of snow, citizens should plan accordingly. Get tips from the Maryland Emergency Management Agency on preparing for winter storms.
