Towson University Promotes National Voter Registration Day
National Voter Registration Day is Tuesday, Sept. 25. Here's where to find a voter registration drive in Towson.

TOWSON, MD — It's National Voter Registration Day on Tuesday, Sept. 25. At various events, volunteers will be registering people to vote and helping them update their voter information ahead of the general election.
Towson University is hosting National Voter Registration Day activities around campus, including at Freedom Square.
The university aims to change the percentage of college students voting in midterm elections, which Towson University reported was 20 percent in the 2014 midterms.

The university offers TurboVote, which helps remind people to cast their ballots.
In Maryland, the deadline to register to vote for the 2018 gubernatorial general election is Tuesday, Oct. 16.
