The Bison have won eight of the last 10 NCAA FCS National Championships, including
in 2013 when the Bison topped TU, 28-7. This weekend will be the first time the Tigers
will host the Bison at home and the first regular season meeting between the two since
1983 in Fargo, North Dakota.

The game will be one of the biggest regular season matchups in Johnny Unitas® Stadium
history, and Tigers coach Rob Ambrose is ready to welcome one of the premier programs
in college football to campus.

“North Dakota State is pretty much like saying Alabama or Clemson is coming to campus,”
Ambrose says. “They have won more national championships in the last 10 years than
any school in any sport, and they are coming to play here.

“[The path to] winning the national championship goes through North Dakota State.
I’m ready for our students to tailgate, have fun, be smart then come in and raise
some hell.”

Parking lots will open three hours before kickoff. Those not able to attend the game
can watch online through FloSports or listen at TowsonTigers.com.

Here is some key information to know before coming to cheer the Tigers to victory.

Students, faculty and staff receive free entry to all TU-sponsored sporting events.
This year it’s easier than ever to get tickets through the Towson Gameday app.

Student, faculty and staff tickets will still be available with a TU OneCard at the
Unitas Stadium gates, but supplies are limited. General public tickets for all home
games can be purchased through the Towson University football ticket website.

Parking Lots 6 and 7 will be permit parking only and allow tailgating for permit holders.
The Osler Medical lot will host permit parking, but tailgating is prohibited. Lots
8 and 8a will be the permitted parking area for season ticket holders.

Tailgating is allowed in most parking lots around Unitas Stadium. Lots 3, 4 and 5
are general admission entry lots, with Lot 4 being the home of Towson University student
tailgating.

Towson University Athletics will be providing special Gold Rush shirts to the first
3,000 students in attendance. Freshmen, sophomores and new transfer students can participate
in a “New Student Run” to lead the team out onto the field.

And before the game, there will be a performance of the Black National Anthem, “Lift
Every Voice and Sing,” followed by a performance of the U.S. National Anthem. There will then be a special
military flyover for the game.

Those members of the Towson University community who want to showcase their school
spirit can order their Tiger gear through the Shop Towson Tigers website.
