A woman from Towson won big on an auto-generated ticket, according to the Maryland Lottery.

TOWSON, MD — A Towson lottery player had a five-figure win recently, according to the Maryland Lottery. The woman won $10,000 playing a "Quick-Pick" Mega Millions ticket, lottery officials said.

The Towson player put down $10 for the game.

In the quick pick, a line of numbers is randomly generated on the ticket. There were five lines of numbers, and the second line matched four of the winning numbers plus the Mega Ball number, according to lottery officials. That added up to a $10,000 prize.
