Towson Woman Wins $50K In Powerball: Maryland Lottery

A woman from Towson has now won the lottery twice, officials report.

TOWSON, MD - A Towson woman won big for the second time in a decade, according to the Maryland Lottery.

Ten years ago, the woman won $250,000 from the lotto and used it to start a business, lottery officials said. Since then, she said she has continued to play the lottery, buying about 20 tickets a year. Her persistence in playing the lottery paid off.

This month, she played Powerball and cashed in on $50,000 in winnings.
