Towsontown Boulevard Closures to Last for One Week

Utility crews will be installing a water line during the evenings, according to Baltimore County government.

A portion of Towsontown Boulevard is going to be closed during the evening and early morning hours for one week.

Starting on Tuesday, June 17, Towsontown Boulevard will be closed between York Road and Virginia Avenue as crews install a major water line through Towson, according to a statement from Baltimore County government officials.

Detours will take eastbound traffic to York Road, Chesapeake Avenue and Virginia Avenue; westbound traffic will take Virginia Avenue, Pennsylvania Avenue and York Road, the statement said.

The closures will be in effect overnight—from 7 p.m. to 6 a.m. daily—until next Tuesday, June 24.
