Trader Joe’s is reportedly moving from its spot off Towson’s downtown traffic circle to the Shops at Kenilworth by the Baltimore beltway.
Trader Joe’s has been in the Towson Circle location since 2000, The Baltimore Sun reports.
Its new location in the Shops at Kenilworth will be 500 square feet larger and offer more parking spots, according to the newspaper, which said that a spokesperson for Trader Joe’s would not disclose the reason for the move.

Located less than 1.5 miles from Towson Circle, the Shops at Kenilworth is currently undergoing a major $20 million renovation project.
Touches like grand entrances, rooftop garden and wine bar will ”add a fresh look and new energy” to the shopping center off Kenilworth Drive that was built in 1979, according to Greenberg Gibbons, the Owings Mills-based developer overseeing the project.
Real estate around Towson Circle has also been evolving, particularly with the opening of Towson Square in 2014.
Project officials announced in November 2014 that Towson Row will include a Whole Foods, but have not said when that grocery store will open.

Last month, Illinois-based Retail Properties of America, which reportedly also owns Towson Circle, purchased Towson Square for $39.7 million.
An executive involved in the transaction indicated that transformation was coming to the area, describing Towson Square as an “integral part of our redevelopment plans for Towson Circle,” after closing on the property.
