'Veep' Films in Towson for HBO Show's Fourth Season

Bus, film crews, Julia Louis-Dreyfus were on scene in Baltimore County Thursday.

Towson turned into a TV set on Thursday as the HBO show Veep was filming in the area.

The show, which first aired in April 2012, began filming in Maryland in 2011. It was reportedly around Bosley Avenue and the courthouse in Towson on Thursday. See pictures here.

With three seasons under its belt, Veep stars Julia Louis-Dreyfus, best known for her role as Towson native Elaine Benes on Seinfeld.

Playing U.S. Vice President Selina Meyer in Veep, Louis-Dreyfus has won three consecutive Emmys for best lead actress in a comedy series.

As the show was filming around the Baltimore County courthouse on Bosley Avenue Thursday, Louis-Dreyfus tweeted a photo of her other cast members on the set.

Veep was in Towson until 3 p.m. on Thursday, according to the Towson Chamber of Commerce, which reported the farmers market was relocated to Allegheny Avenue’s corner lot near Cafe Troia to accommodate filming.
