Vehicle Crashes into Starbucks on York Road

Four people were injured when vehicle hit coffee shop off York Road near Towson, Baltimore County public safety officials report.

TOWSON, MD – Several people were injured when a vehicle ran into a Starbucks in Towson Monday morning, according to Baltimore County public safety officials.

Before 10:30 a.m., authorities said that fire crews were at the scene of the collision in the 6300 block of York Road.

Four people reportedly had minor injuries as a result of the crash, which occurred in the York Road Plaza, a shopping center that contains Giant and Chipotle, among other businesses.

First responders have requested that a building inspector come to the scene to evaluate the situation, officials said.

The collision came a week after a vehicle fell from a parking garage in Towson, on Allegheny Avenue. The driver in that crash was not seriously injured, police said.
