Vehicle Runs into Drumcastle Center: Baltimore County Officials

Three people received medical attention as a result of the Towson crash, first responders reported.

An SUV drove into Drumcastle Center in Towson Thursday morning, Baltimore County public safety officials reported.

At 7:45 a.m., first responders were dispatched to the 6400 block of York Road, where officials said a Toyota RAV4 had crashed into the side of a building.

Two people from the vehicle were treated at the scene, while one person who had been inside the building was taken to the hospital with injuries that were not believed to be life-threatening, officials said.

Drumcastle Center houses the Baltimore County Department of Health, according to WJZ.

Building engineers were called to assess the structure before 9 a.m., Baltimore County officials said.

York Road was closed for approximately one hour between Gittings and Regester avenues as first responders handled the scene.

By 9:08 a.m., York Road had reopened, ABC 2 News reported.
