Since they were born March 10, the twins have been “behind the scenes,” bonding with their parents, African pygmy goats Lois and Lex, according to a statement from the zoo. The kids are 9 and 10 pounds.
“They are becoming very active and will be jumping all over the place,” Carey Ricciardone, the zoo’s mammal collection and conservation manager, said. “They are actively exploring their environment, napping and playing with their mother.”

Luckily she’s an experienced mother and is taking very good care of her kids,” Carey Ricciardone, the zoo’s mammal collection and conservation manager, said.
