Baltimore County Closures, Delays On Thursday, November 15
Public schools and other locations are impacted by the snow on Thursday, Nov. 15, in Baltimore County.

BALTIMORE COUNTY, MD — All public schools in Baltimore County will be closed on Thursday, Nov. 15. Officials made the announcement Thursday morning.
Authorities cited the forecast of snow and freezing rain in making the decision. All after-school and evening activities are canceled on Thursday as well in Baltimore County Public Schools.
Northern Baltimore County is under a winter storm warning calling for up to 6 inches of snow.

The Reisterstown branch and Hereford branch of Baltimore County Public Library are closing at 3 p.m. on Thursday, Nov. 15, because they fall in the Hereford Zone.
Due to weather-related signal and switch issues at Owings Mills station, Metro SubwayLink trains temporarily terminated at Old Court station; shuttles were used until 2 p.m., by which point transit officials said the issue had been resolved.

Previously, a winter weather advisory was issued for snow, sleet and freezing rain. The advisory — in effect from 7 a.m. to 4 p.m. on Thursday, Nov. 15 — calls for up to 2 inches of sleet and snow as well as a glaze of ice.
