BREAKING: Baltimore County Public Schools will operate on a modified schedule on Tuesday, Jan. 30.

BALTIMORE COUNTY, MD — Schools in Baltimore County will open late on Tuesday, Jan. 30, according to school officials. Baltimore County Public Schools announced a two-hour delay Tuesday morning.
Morning prekindergarten is canceled for students in Baltimore County Public Schools, the announcement said.
Public school offices will open on time, according to officials.

Drivers are advised to give themselves extra time on the morning commute as snow falls throughout the region. There is potential for slippery spots on area roads.
Accumulations between a coating and a half-inch of snow are expected between 3 and 7 a.m., according to the National Weather Service.
