What's Open, Closed In Baltimore County For MLK Jr. Day 2021

While county offices are closed for Martin Luther King Jr. Day on Monday, Jan. 18, some services will continue as usual.

BALTIMORE COUNTY, MD — Baltimore County government offices will be closed Monday for Martin Luther King Jr. Day. Baltimore County Public Schools and offices will also be closed.

Classes are canceled at CCBC, Goucher College, Stevenson University and Towson University Monday for the holiday too.

Trash and recyclables will be collected in Baltimore County according to the normal schedule.

County trash and recycling drop-off facilities will be open.

Residents can visit www.baltimorecountymd.gov/solidwaste for more information about recycling and trash collection, including schedules and drop-off center locations and hours. Residents may also call the Bureau of Solid Waste Management at 410-887-2000.

Parking meters must be fed, and Baltimore County Revenue Authority parking garages will be open as usual.

The county health department's COVID-19 testing and vaccination sites, CountyRide van service and all branches of the Baltimore County Public Library will be closed on Monday for the holiday.

Although government offices are closed, private companies may conduct coronavirus testing.

The Penn, Camden and Brunswick lines will be out of service Sunday, Jan. 17, through Wednesday, Jan. 20, the MTA announced Friday.

Post offices will be closed Monday.
