BALTIMORE COUNTY, MD — Due to the holiday that celebrates American workers, numerous offices and services will be closed Monday for Labor Day. The 2021 holiday falls on Sept. 6.

Baltimore County Health Department: Closed

Baltimore County Public Library branches: Closed

Baltimore County Public Schools: Closed

Baltimore County Senior Centers: Closed

CountyRide vans: Not operating

Courts: Closed

Towson Town Center: Open 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. on Labor Day

Towson University: Closed

Trash: Trash pickup is not occurring Monday. Check your collection schedule to find out the pickup date.

Landfill and recycling: Closed

Parking meters: Free on Labor Day.

MARC trains: These will not run Labor Day.

Metro: Operating on a holiday schedule Monday. Trains will run between 8 a.m. and 11 p.m.

Labor Day — the holiday that marks the unofficial end of summer and the start of the school year — is among the busiest travel holidays of the year.

The best times on Labor Day to cross the Bay Bridge are before 10 a.m. and after 11 p.m., Maryland transportation officials advise.
