Woman Carjacked On York Road: Towson Crime

Dumbarton Middle School was burglarized, a woman was carjacked near Allegheny Avenue and more crimes in Towson were reported.

TOWSON, MD — The Baltimore County Police Department provided the following information about crimes from July 1 to 10 in Towson. Arrests do not indicate convictions.

Police said a woman was carjacked on York Road at Allegheny Avenue on Monday. The two suspects have been arrested, according to authorities. The victim had been in her vehicle at 1:05 a.m. when one suspect ordered her to get out and assaulted her, police said. An accomplice left with the suspect in the vehicle, which officials said was located along with the carjackers.

A residence was burglarized in the 300 block of West Wind Road. The burglar(s) got into the residence through an unlocked side window between 2:15 p.m. on July 5 and 7 p.m. on July 8. The TV was stolen in the burglary.

Dumbarton Middle School was burglarized. A shed was broken into, spray-painted and damaged. The burglary in the 300 block of Dumbarton Road happened sometime between 10:26 a.m. on July 7 and 8 a.m. on July 8.

A home invasion was reported in the unit block of Airway Circle. Two armed individuals went into a home, where they assaulted and robbed the people inside. The suspects were strangers to the victims, whose cash and cell phones were stolen by the armed robbers. The crime occurred at 9:50 p.m. on July 5.

A residence was broken into in the unit block of Clybourne Court. Jewelry, clothes, electronics and other items were stolen in the burglary, which happened between 1:45 and 2:45 p.m. on July 2.

An apartment was burglarized in the 6600 block of Loch Raven Boulevard. Eyeglasses, several pairs of shoes and clothing were stolen. The suspect used the victim's keys to enter the apartment of the victim's brother. The burglary occurred between 1 and 6:30 p.m. on July 2.
