
The Town of Forest Heights and County Council Vice Chair Obie Patterson are teaming up to encourage residents in District 8 to turn in their guns Saturday, June 22, 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. at Abundant Life Ministries in Forest Heights.
Drop off your unwanted guns with no questions asked in exchange for gift cards:
$50 for revolvers, shotguns and rifles

$100 for semiautomatics
The Prince George's County Branch of the NAACP will be providing the gift cards. Other supporting partners include the Prince George's County Office of Youth Strategies, Prince George's County Police Department, and Abundant Life Ministries.
