30 years later Maryland woman still missing; families of missing persons to hold vigil to bring attention to this case
<Clarksburg, Maryland> – June 6, 2013 – The Maryland Missing Persons Network is asking all media outlets for their help to bring closure to a 30-year-old cold case. Family and friends with missing loved ones in the state of Maryland will gather Sunday to bring attention to this victim’s case at the following location and time:

- Sunday, June 9, 2013 – 6:00 p.m.
On June 9, 1983, Kimberly Mileo disappeared from Croom, Maryland, under suspicious circumstances and is still missing. She was last seen with her boyfriend, Dana Hudson, on June 8, 1983. She left Dana's friend’s house at 11:00 pm and headed to his parent’s house with him. Mileo's family became concerned when she did not return to their house in Kettering, Maryland, the following morning and reported her missing. There have been no sightings of Mileo since; she has never been located. Perhaps now with so much time passing someone who wouldn’t speak up then will speak up now with the information to solve this cold case.
Kim is described as 4'11, 98 lbs, brown hair and brown eyes. She was last seen wearing a white windbreaker, tube top, black shorts and flip-flop sandals. More information on her case, including a picture, can be found at: http://www.charleyproject.org/cases/m/mileo_kimberly.html
The Maryland Missing Persons Network is the Maryland branch of an international organization called The Doe Network, http://www.doenetwork.org/. This organization assists police and families in locating missing persons, helps generate awareness of missing and unidentified victims, and profiles Jane/John Does for public recognition on its website http://www.marylandmissing.com.
Volunteers’ cross-match missing person cases with unidentified remains and send the possibilities to law enforcement. This has led to over 80 identifications in the United States, including over 12 in Maryland alone.
