Area Businesses Welcome Spring with Freebies

Although it has felt like spring for a while, Tuesday marks the "official" start of the season. It's also the day that some local businesses offer freebies to customers.

These offers are only available on Tuesday at participating locations.

locations will give out free regular-size Italian ice (one per customer). The Largo Rita's is located at 820 S. Capital Center Blvd. and hours are noon to 8 p.m.

is offering a free Bloomin' Onion appetizer if you stop in and tell your server that you're there to "bloom into spring." Note that the offer is for dine-in or carry-out orders with any other purchase, and is limited to one per table or order. The Largo Outback is located at 9660 Lottsford Ct.
