Attempted Bank Robbery Suspect Wanted In PG County: Police

DISTRICT HEIGHTS, MD — Police are searching for a man who tried to rob a District Heights bank Tuesday afternoon.

The suspect posed as a customer before he tried to get bank tellers to give him cash from the bank at around 2:40 p.m., police said. The bank is located in the 7500 block of Marlboro Pike in District Heights.

The suspect ran from the bank without getting any money, police said. Police is asking anyone with information to call them at 301-772-4905 or 1-866-411-TIPS. They are offering a cash reward in this case.
