Six Flags America Closed Due to Bomb Threat, 2 Suspicious Packages Cleared [VIDEO]
The Prince George's County Fire Department is on the scene investigating at Upper Marlboro theme park.

Authorities have shut down the Six Flags America amusement park in Upper Marlboro after a report of a suspicious package and a bomb threat, and two suspicious packages have been cleared as non-explosive.
"PGFD is onlocation at @SixFlagsDC as we investigate a suspicious package in park after a threat was received," spokesperson Mark Brady tweeted at 11:22 a.m. "Park is closed for now."
Brady tweeted at 12:14 p.m. that the initial suspicious package was cleared as non-explosive, but a second suspicious package is now being investigated. He tweeted at 1:17 p.m. that the second package had also been cleared as a non-explosive and a "complete search of park interior will now commence" as a precaution.

Six Flags America tweeted that it was cooperating with authorities.
"The safety of our guests & employees is our top priority," the tweet reads. "As precaution, park closed until cleared."
