Adopters and fosters are needed for 8&nbsp;dogs on the urgent list (see below) by Tuesday, 9/1.&nbsp;&nbsp;Please go meet and adopt them&nbsp;today. They are at full capacity with dogs&nbsp;during construction and need space for more dogs coming in.&nbsp;&nbsp;

🐶&nbsp;Adopters:&nbsp;Please go to the shelter Friday&nbsp;(11am to 7pm, arrive by 6pm) and Saturday (10am to 4pm, arrive by 3pm.) Adopters are able to meet 2 dogs and bring dogs for meet and greets.
Note: Adopters of pit bulls: Review the requirements and complete the&nbsp;Pet Parenting Certification (that takes about an hour)&nbsp;before going to adopt&nbsp;Pit Bull Terriers&nbsp;and specific bully-type breeds. 🐶 Prospective fosters:&nbsp;Fosters through the shelter and rescues are needed for these dogs.&nbsp;PPlease apply with rescue partners, or contact the shelter if already approved, to be a foster and save a life.&nbsp;The Friends of PG&nbsp;County Animal Shelter posts about dogs which need fosters through the shelter or otherwise through rescues.&nbsp;Fostering is usually free with a rescue.

Mark your calendars for SUNDAY, September 13, from 10 AM to 2 PM.&nbsp; 
Location: 3750 Brown Station RD, Upper Marlboro, MD 20772.
There will be a flat fee of $20 for rabies vaccination, microchip, or both! Please note: payment will be cash only.
Please note that this vaccination clinic is for Prince George’s County residents, and participants will need to provide proof of ID. There is a limit of 2 pets per household.&nbsp;&nbsp;
