Local Charity Hosts Yard Sale to Raise Funds

Community Support Systems is holding a flea market /yard sale, Saturday, May 19,f from 8 a.m. to 2 p.m.  at Lions Park at Route 301 and Cherry Tree Crossing Road in Cheltenham, MD.  The event will also feature a Beautiful Baby Contest (0-2 years old) so bring your pictures. Find a treasure or de-clutter!  Vendors selling a variety of items are welcome.  Booths can be rented for $20. Vendor registration will be at the gate from 6 a.m. to 7:45 a.m. Weapons, live animals, and food sales are not permitted.

The mission of CSS is to provide access to services; to advocate for needed services; and to provide local programs that will raise the quality of life, dignity, and independence in the community.  CSS serves southern Prince George's & northern Charles counties with food pantries in two locations, a Shared Senior Living Home for low-income seniors, and an Advocacy Program & Assistance Fund to help people access resources.
