Join a naturalist from Merkle Wildlife Sanctuary to learn how to use an old-fashioned compass. This program is open to people of all ages. Visitors should bring drinking water, sunscreen, bug spray and walking shoes. Please note: The bridge on Fenno Road to Merkle is closed for repairs until further notice. From Rte. 301, take Croom Road. Instead of turning onto St. Thomas Church Road (as most GPS units and maps will suggest), continue on Croom Road, then make a left onto Nottingham Road and a left onto Fenno Road.
